This "Gold Label” Gewurztraminer is named in honor of the Lords of Ribeaupierre, who held sway over much of Alsace in the Middle Ages, and whose ruined castles still dot the foothills of the Vosges above the village of Ribeauville.

Tasting notes

Undeniably rich and spicy, even exotic, it has the carefully measured acidity which imparts finesse and subtlety. Totally dry, with good levels of natural alcohol beneath its hallmark fragrance of rose and lychee. Superb with complex spicy foods from around the world.

Temperature-controlled stainless steel vats; no malo-lactic fermentation to maintain as much natural acidity as possible. Four years of cellar aging. Domaine bottled.
