Baron Patrick is often referred to as "The King of the Loire Valley”, not solely due to his aristocratic descent, but more so for his contribution to the worldwide recognition and acclaim of this appellation. | Wine maker notes |
| Les Deux Tours is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, grown on mainly siliceous-limestone with some parcels of flint clay. The grapes are sourced from the best vine growers in the region. The impeccable "vinification” is true to the Ladoucette standards, the highest in the world of white wines. The wine is made at the Marc Bredif winery in Vouvray by Cellar Master Jean-Francois Marchalot. Fermentation takes place in thermo-controlled stainless-steel tanks and the wine is "raised” on fine lees to allow the full expression of its character. |
