Federalist Dueling Pistols 2009

Federalist Dueling Pistols 750ml 2009
Sku: 1741015

3 day lead-time required to confirm availability Why?

Tasting notes
Aroma: Bright cherry jam. Taste: Dark fruit flavors with a hint of spice.

Wine maker notes
On July 11, 1804 off the Hudson shore at Weehawken, the original Federalist, Alexander Hamilton was shot in a duel by Aaron Burr and died from his injuries. Since dueling is no longer socially acceptable, we suggest solving differences over a glass of this “dual” of zinfandel and syrah.

Technical notes
50% syrah; 50% zinfandel

Food pairing
Grilled and roasted meats, BBQ, pizza
